About Me
As a member of the Moon Township community for the past 12 years, I have been privileged to see the positive impact our community has had on my blossoming family. My wife is an educator at West Allegheny High School, and I am a construction superintendent working at Pittsburgh International Airport. We have two wonderful sons, one at Brooks and one at the Middle School.
Why I'm Running
I wish to serve the students and their families on the Board of Education. I am particularly interested in planning and investing in our school facilities by prioritizing needs, promoting open communication among teachers, administrators, and parents, and maintaining fiscal transparency to ensure accountability of all expenditures. I strongly believe that when our students are successful, it benefits our entire community.

I bring a unique blend of leadership, community engagement, and practical experience, making me an excellent candidate for the school board. As an experienced construction superintendent accustomed to managing large projects, I have honed skills in problem-solving and collaboration—key attributes for navigating the complexities of school district decisions. I have also volunteered my time in the community, organizing a Pokémon Go-themed fundraiser for Moon Park and coaching soccer for MASA. With a passion for supporting education and the practical knowledge to ensure fiscally responsible growth for our community, I am committed to fostering a bright future for Moon Area School District.

About Me
Hi, I’m Morgan. I grew up in Moon and went to Pleasant View and the old middle and high schools. The education I received at Moon, and the unwavering support of many teachers, served as a launching pad to Penn State and graduate school in chemistry. After working as an environmental analyst, my desire to serve others led me to pursue a medical degree and become a physician.
My husband and I wanted to raise our children close to family, and in 2017 I returned to Moon. Moon has evolved in wonderful ways over the past 20 years while maintaining its community feel, and we've been so grateful for the warm welcome home!
Why I'm Running
As Moon has grown, so too have the needs of our students. With solid infrastructure in place, it is time to focus on student outcomes, while honoring the values of our community. I’ll work to uphold community values as I collaborate with our teachers, support staff, and administrators to create a safe, compassionate environment in which all students can blossom and flourish. Because when our students thrive, so does the community

When I’m not spending time with my family and neighbors, I work as a doctor. Listening is at the heart of how I help patients heal. In addition to serving individual patients, I collaborate with teams to make the hospital environment safer for patients, their families, and the care team. I will apply these skills - listening, outcomes-focused goal setting, and value-driven collaboration - to improve outcomes and opportunities for our students.

About Me
I am a nationally board-certified high school chemistry teacher at South Fayette High School, with 13 years of experience across private and public schools. My teaching experience includes college-level Advanced Placement Chemistry, Honors Organic Chemistry, middle school Algebra I and Python. I have taught remedial chemistry to at-risk students and coach two Science Bowl teams, preparing them for regional competitions hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy. Additionally, I coach soccer for the Moon Area Soccer Association.
Why I'm Running
My wife, Holly, and I chose to move to the Moon Area School District for its excellent schools and strong community. With a second grader at J.A. Allard Elementary and another who will enter kindergarten in the fall, I am deeply invested in the future of our local public schools. As an active volunteer in the Allard PTO and community organizations like Literacy Pittsburgh (as an ELL teacher in Coraopolis), I believe in the power of collaboration to continue improving the exceptional education our children receive in the Moon Area School District.
Skills I'm Excited to Share
I have developed new curricula, including an Honors Organic Chemistry course for students pursuing STEM fields and a freshman S.T.E.A.M. course. I’ve also secured grant funding from organizations like the Pittsburgh Spectroscopy Society and the American Chemical Society to support classroom needs. Currently, I am in the process of developing a "Science of Cooking" elective course to blend my love of cooking with my excitement for teaching science. My passion for innovation and hands-on learning drives my commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for students.

About Me
I have over 20 years of experience in digital marketing, product design and development, and communications. My career spans higher education, healthcare, retail, and the electrical sector. I currently work as the Analytics Product Owner for the customer support and project management teams at Eaton Corporation here in Moon. I grew up in a small town in Northern Michigan, where I attended an exceptional public school system that propelled me first to a bachelor’s degree in Professional Writing, and then to a Master’s Degree in English from The National University of Ireland, Cork.
Why I'm Running
My husband, Kevin, and I have been proud to call Moon Township home since 2010. Our children attended J.H. Brooks Elementary and are now at the Middle School. My early experiences as a public school student, where our entire community rallied to ensure positive student outcomes, are central to who I am today. While I am confident my children are receiving a quality education in Moon Area, I want to ensure the same is true of every child in our district.

In my career in technology product development, I frequently bring parties from different teams together to solve complex business problems and make data-driven, strategic decisions. I am especially skilled in process improvement and developing solutions that scale. With previous volunteer experience for Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts of Western PA, and developing policy and recruiting talent in a nonprofit setting, I believe my curiosity and desire to learn more will continue to serve me well as a member of the school board.
